Conveyor Configurations – Z, C, Horizontal (Straight/Curved), Incline/Decline
Z CONFIGURATION
The “Z” configuration allows product to be conveyed on one continuous belt from one elevation to a higher or lower elevation. The “Z” indicates the general shape of the conveyor- horizontal at one end, an angled incline or decline section, then horizontal again at the other end making integration a simpler step.
Design features include:
- Belt type
- Belt width
- Slider Bed/Roller Bed
- Section lengths
- Incline or decline angle
- Belt speed
- Cleat type & height
- Belt sidewall (optional)
- Our equipment can be built to meet FDA, USDA or BEAG standards for sanitary design
C CONFIGURATION
The “C” configuration allows product to be conveyed from horizontal to a higher or lower elevation on one belt. The “C” is used to designate the shape of the conveyor, sometimes also called a hockey stick conveyor- horizontal at one end and an angled incline or decline.
Design features include:
- Belt type
- Belt width
- Slider Bed/Roller Bed
- Section lengths
- Incline or decline angle
- Belt speed
- Cleat type & height
- Belt sidewall (optional)
- Our equipment can be built to meet FDA, USDA or BEAG standards for sanitary design
HORIZONTAL CONFIGURATION
Depending on the application, you may require horizontal conveyors that are straight or curved. They can be designed to carry anything from loose, light bulk material up to larger, heavier items. We work with you to evaluate what belt type, and even the type of sidewalls, if they are needed, to move your products in the most efficient way.
Design features include:
- Belt type
- Belt width
- Slider Bed/Roller Bed
- Conveyor length
- Belt speed
- Belt sidewall (optional)
- Our equipment can be built to meet FDA, USDA or BEAG standards for sanitary design
INCLINE/DECLINE CONFIGURATION
When an immediate elevation change is required to raise or lower the product, an Incline/Decline conveyor is an ideal solution. This type of conveyor is perfect when floor space is at a premium. It takes the food product and conveys it directly to the next destination.
Design features include:
- Belt type
- Belt width
- Slider Bed/Roller Bed
- Section lengths
- Belt speed
- Cleat type & height
- Belt sidewall
- Our equipment can be built to meet FDA, USDA or BEAG standards for sanitary design
